Premium handmade cigars

Rolled by hand from whole long-filler leaves, aged and sold one by one or in boxes at tobacconists. This is what Cigar.co covers.

Machine-made cigars

Made by machine, often with short (chopped) filler and sometimes a homogenised binder. Cheaper and more uniform.

Cigarillos and little cigars

Small, thin cigars, usually machine-made. Little cigars are cigarette-sized and often filtered.

Infused and flavoured cigars

Tobacco treated with flavours or botanicals, for example vanilla, coffee or rum notes. Drew Estate's ACID line is a well-known infused premium cigar.

Long filler, short filler and mixed filler

Long filler uses whole leaves running the length of the cigar; short filler uses chopped pieces; mixed filler (sometimes called Cuban sandwich) combines both.

By shape

Parejos have straight sides; figurados are shaped, like torpedos and perfectos. See our cigar sizes chart.

What is the difference between a cigar and a cigarillo?
